What are the Benefits of the Course?
Once you have completed theTeaching in Education QUALIFICATION, you will be able to teach your specialist subject. For instance if you are a specialist in Engineering you will be able to teach Engineering at a level one below your qualification.
Course Content
- The theory and practice of teaching
- Principles of learning, teaching, assessment and evaluation
- Confidence, communication and interpersonal skills
- Your professional role and responsibilities.
- Record Keeping
Assessment
You will demonstrate what you’ve learned through both practical skills assessments and assignments that cover the theory of teaching. These assessments include practical skills demonstrations and written assignments. You will also complete 15/30 minutes of teaching practice. In addition, keeping a Teaching Practice Portfolio and a Reflective Learning Journal is encouraged.
Certification
Upon completion of the course and successful completion of a written assessment candidates receive a certificate. Level 3
